A very popular feature with beds at the moment is a tent. When a bed has a tent feature it does not mean that it is like a camping tent though and rather refers to covering the lower part of the bed with a fabric which makes for a better looking and more tidy bed.
The tent is usually uses on mid sleeper beds with the lower part of the bed that is used for storage or playing being covered with the tent. This means that you cannot see what is below the bed when the tent is there and so it makes the bed look much more tidy, more importantly though the tent makes an excellent den for kids and they will love playing in their new tent bed. There are also some bunk beds that have a tent on the bottom bunk and these are great as they make the top bunk less appealing and so there will be less arguments as to who gets the top bunk.
The tents are usually made from a nice cotton fabric and are machine washable and so they are easy to look after. They are usually also brightly coloured and so look very nice in a child's bedroom and there are lots of colours available as well as the ever popular pink and blue tents.
